Update for December 2013:
Happy December everyone! I've been asked by a few folks how long I'm planning to continue Hello, Month. My goal is to do it through the end of August 2014, so I will have a full year of making every month better. We'll see where it goes from there.
I've also been asked what each month's focus is. Here's a handy guide to Hello, Month so far:
September: Getting grounded when things go bad
October: Thinking better thoughts
November: Building confidence
December: Feeling magical
Thanks for all the love notes you've sent! I'm glad that Hello, Month is as good for you as it is for me. :)
Update for October 2013:
I am astonished at the responses I've gotten from all of you. Thousands of people visited Hello, Month in September, and it sparked hundreds of email conversations with people from all over the world. (And Matt Cutts from Google tweeted about it! Which pretty much blew my mind.)
In case you're curious, my September was so much better than my August. Therapy works! Who knew? I'm inspired to continue this project for October because of the radical changes I've been seeing in my thought life, all due to a thought-detecting tool that I'll walk you through during this month.
If Hello, Month is helpful for you, please let me know by emailing email@example.com and subscribe to hear about future months using the form at the bottom of this page. Thanks, and have the best October ever!
Love and toast,
Sarah J. Bray
So I came up with an idea for a website that would allow me to start over every month, saying goodbye to the old month and welcoming the new month wholeheartedly. I had grand plans for it (still do), but finally ended up starting here, with this.I hope it helps us all to have a better September. And if it's something other people could use too, a better October, November, December, and 2014. If you have any feedback for me, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. I'll be overjoyed to hear from you. Happy September,
